Fox Paw

What is FoxPAW?

Fox P.A.W. (People for Animal Welfare) is an organization dedicated to raising awareness about the mistreatment of animals. Through this club, members have the opportunity to volunteer in the surrounding community. We also offer students a chance to get to help and interact with local animals!

Last semester we co-sponsored the "Shake Your Paws For a Cause Zumbathon" where all proceeds went to the Dutchess SPCA. We also made home-made dog treats and took donations of supplies for the shelter. In the past, we have visited Woodstock Farms, a farm animal rescue and volunteered at the Dutchess SPCA.

If you are interested in FoxP.A.W please join our group on Facebook! Although we send out group e-mails, Facebook is the best method to get our updates, events & to stay in touch!

We also send out e-mails; if you would like to be added to the mailing list or are not receiving them, please let us know! E-mail us at or feel free to contact any of our board members!

** Our club is open to all students. It is not required that our members be vegetarian or vegan. In fact, the majority of our members and executive board are not! However, if you are a vegetarian or a vegan and have some ideas for us, we would love to hear them! We appreciate and encourage input from all of our members.**

Guiding Eyes for the Blind

Our former President, Deanna Dewitt took FoxP.A.W to the next level as she raised a puppy, Woodruff, to be a seeing eye dog! Guiding Eyes for the Blind trains dogs to help & improve the lives of the visually impaired and blind. To learn more, visit their website at
