Simply because you have graduated, your ability to serve college and university bands doesn’t end.

If you want to keep us up to date with what you are doing, please fill out this form!

Members of the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi have become active members in a number of alumni organizations.  These organizations provide valuable resources that will keep you “active” long after graduation.

Membership in Kappa Kappa Psi alumni associations afford you the following:

  • Professional networking opportunities
  • Continued service opportunities for collegiate bands within the alumni association territory or chapter affiliation
  • Information regarding performance opportunities for collegiate bands within the alumni association territory or chapter affiliation
  • Meeting a new, diverse community of musicians that share the same passion for service and music as you.

Local Alumni Giving Programs

Each year the Kappa Upsilon Chapter awards a number of gifts to graduating seniors from the chapter.

Through chapter fundraising and gracious alumni support, the chapter is able to offer the following awards:

  • Kappa Upsilon Founders’ Award
  • Unsung Hero Award

Kappa Upsilon Founders’ Award
The Kappa Upsilon Founders Award is offered annually to a graduating senior that has demonstrated outstanding musicianship, leadership, a positive attitude, integrity, dedication and good work ethic throughout their time as an active brother.   Students may apply or be nominated for this honor.  Winners of this award will receive life membership to Kappa Kappa Psi.

Unsung Hero Award
The Unsung Hero Award is offered annually to an individual that dedicates his/herself wholeheartedly to the advancement of the chapter and of the Marist Band, but often times flies under our radar .  This person, the unsung hero, serves in silence and never expects, demands or anticipated the praise of their peers.  This award is intended to honor that individual.  Students may apply or be nominated for this honor.  Winners of this award will receive a partial payment toward life membership to Kappa Kappa Psi, with the understanding that in time they must satisfy the balance of their membership.

If you are interested in becoming a sponsor of these awards, please contact Chapter Sponsor, Mike Napolitano.
