Hi Marist! My name is Matthew Lubrano and I have the privilege of
serving as your Student Body President this year. I am a senior
accounting major and Catholic studies minor from Dix Hills, NY. I've
served in SGA since I was a first semester freshman and have loved every
minute of it. My positions have ranged from Senate Speaker to Chief
Financial Officer and Vice President of Student Life on the Executive
Board. Aside from SGA, I am also actively involved in the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity, as well as the Catholic Students Association. These wide varieties of activities have given me the most amazing college experiences and I can't believe that this is my senior. I hope to serve you all to the best of my abilities and make your college lives so much better. Let's have some fun!! |

Allison is a junior majoring in French and economics. She is the Vice President of Academic of Affairs for Student Government. She is the student representative to the Academic Affairs Council and oversees the Student Academic Council, which entails bringing academic issues to the attention of the AAC and also strive for a better academic experience on campus. Along with being involved in student government, she is also involved in the economics honor society, the honors program, tutoring, community service, and many other activities on campus. |

Amy is a senior majoring in Accounting and minoring in Business Administration. She is the Vice President of Athletic Affairs of Student Government. She works with clubs, intramural programs, and intercollegiate athletic teams and leaders. She helps to promote involvement at athletic events and helps in letting students concerns be known. She is also a member of the Women’s Soccer Team and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi and the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. She has a twin sister who also goes to Marist and plays soccer. She loves cooking and traveling to tropical places. She loves being a part of SGA because not only has she made many new friends, but she has gained a valuable insight of what SGA can really do for the student body on campus. |

Brittany MacLeod is a member of
the Class of 2013 from Franklin, MA and is the Vice President of Club
Affairs for the Student Government Association of Marist College.
Brittany participates in the Student Booster Club, Marist College Dance
Ensemble and Marist College Toastmasters. She is an ambassador, tour

Kara is a Junior majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. She is the Vice President of Student Life Council of Student Government. She oversees all of the resident student council's (RSCs) on campus as well as planning programs open to all members of the Marist College community. She loves working with all of the SGA members as well as the Marist College Housing Staff. |

Laura Veltre is a senior Communications major with concentrations in
Radio/TV/Film and Advertising and a minor in Cinema Studies. As the
President of the Student Programming Council (and the VP of Student
Programming for SGA), she oversees a variety of entertainment events on
and off campus, including coffeehouses, comedians, movies, Broadway
trips, and socials. She is also involved in the Dean's Circle, MCTV, the
Marist College Orchestra, Ambassadors, and Campus Ministry. In her free
time she enjoys reading, taking photos, and watching movies. |

Alyssa Bradt is a Junior from Saratoga, NY majoring in Business
Administration/Human Resource Management. As the Chief Financial Officer, she works with all chartered
clubs and organizations at Marist by authorizing expenditures and
processing monetary-related requests. In addition to being involved
with the Student Government Association Executive Board and Financial
Board, Alyssa is currently the Class of 2012 Vice President, a member
of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and participates in many other on-campus
activities. She loves Oreo McFlurries, the New York Jets, and having any
type of conversation... so please don't hesitate to ask her a question
and always feel free to talk to her. :-) |

Michael is a Junior Information Technology and Systems major with a concentration in Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration from Georgia, Vermont. As Chief Information Officer, he is responsible for facilitating the use of technology within clubs and organizations including websites, the Club Management System, and more. Michael is also the liaison between the student body and the Marist Information Technology Department. You'll find Michael all over campus, including as an employee of the Office of College Activities, President of the Fulton/Upper West Cedar Resident Student Council, a Member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, and the Red Fox Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary. Prior to becoming CIO, he served as Vice President of the Student Programming Council and Assistant CIO. Michael has a passion for all things technology and is always looking for a way to improve Marist. |

Valerie Piscitello is a sophomore here at Marist College. She was born
and raised on the south shore of Long Island. She is a Political Science
major with a concentration in Public Affairs. On top of her position as
Director of Communications for SGA, she is involved in other areas of
Marist College. She sits on the Dining Hall Committee, participates in
S.E.E.D., and is the President of the Resident Student Council in
Gartland Commons. With this position she sits on the Student Life
Council headed by Vice President of SLC for SGA, Kara Baldwin. As
Director of Communications for the Student Government Association she
co-heads the Communications Board with the Director of Public Relations,
Becca Snodgrass. She is in charge of publicitity throughout the campus
via the internet. She manages the Facebook page as well as the twitter
account and constantly updates both with events, programs, meetings, and
general happenings on campus. She also is in charge of press releases
to the Circle, on the Marist website, and communication to clubs and

Chris Traina is a senior, Fashion Merchandising major minoring in Business Administration, Music, and Theater Studies. While serving as this year's Executive Secretary, Chris not only answers phone calls and records minutes for weekly meetings, but also serves as a liaison between all E-board and Senate Members to our student body. He is always willing to assist in any of their projects, events, and is grateful to be given the opportuinty to voice his opinion for the better of Marist College. When he's not in the SGA Office, you can find Chris in the Fashion Department planning and co-directing this year's 25th Annual Silver Needle Fashion Show and singing and acting in the Nelly Goletti Theatre.
