Judicial Branch
Document Authenticity
and Integrity Policy

All official Judicial Branch documents are certified with a digital signature or raised seal, depending on the medium of publication. The Judicial Branch publishes documents in digital PDF format, with hardcopies available upon request.

Official Judicial Branch digital documents will always be certified with the digital signature of the Chief Justice. These digital documents also use security features to prevent modifications and printing, which is done to further ensure their integrity. Official Judicial Branch hardcopy documents will always be certified with the Judicial Branch embossed (raised) seal. If the hardcopy contains multiple pages, the seal will be placed on every page of the document.

Official Judicial Branch emails are only sent from the email address.

If you receive a document or email claiming to be from the Judicial Branch that is not certified in one of the above manners, please contact the Chief Justice immediately. The document in question should not be acted upon unless its authenticity is confirmed in person by the Chief Justice.
