Parking Ticket Appeals

The Student Government Association Judicial Branch has sole jurisdiction over appeals of any parking violations issued to students by the Marist College Office of Safety and Security.

Under the administration of the Chief Justice, the Judicial Branch operates a parking ticket appeal process that maintains the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and professionalism.


Parking Ticket Appeal Form

Parking Ticket Appeal Forms are available in the Student Government Association Office (Student Center 347) or the Office of Safety and Security (Donnelly Hall 201). Click here for more information about submitting a parking ticket appeal.

Make sure you read the form completely and follow the stated directions, as failure to do so may result in the denial of your appeal. Also, note the number of the ticket you are appealing to reference when checking the status of your appeal online.


Parking Ticket Appeal Status

Notification of the decision rendered by the Judicial Board on a parking ticket appeal can be obtained online fourteen (14) days after the date of submission.


Important Note About Parking Ticket Appeals

The decisions of the Judicial Board regarding parking ticket appeals are final and cannot be considered, discussed, or appealed further.

All interactions between the appellant and the Judicial Board shall be conducted via the Parking Ticket Appeal Form only and any form of verbal communication with the Judicial Board regarding parking ticket appeals will not be entertained.

Abuse of the parking ticket appeal process or anyone involved will not be tolerated and may affect eligibility to participate in the parking ticket appeal process and/or result in disciplinary action.
