Director Of Public Relations

      Hey everyone! My name is Katie Procter and I'm a junior here at Marist. I'm a Political Science and History major, with a Women's Studies minor. I'm a Jersey girl with a love for politics, reading, movies, field hockey, and debating. Classic movies and classic rock is where art is truly found as well. On campus, I’m involved in Student Government (most obviously), the General Members Committee, and the History Honor Society! I'm the Director of Public Relations for Student Government this year and am looking to take the position to new levels, so feel free to stop in on my office hours or contact me with any concerns or questions. This past year, my board and I worked hard to improve the publicity of Student Government events such as the Poker Night and Karaoke Night and find new ways to reach the student body. We had our best voter turnout for Spring Elections ever this year, and I plan to work with other Student Government members to raise that number in the Fall!

   Over the course of the next administration, I plan on creating a solid and reliable communications network for students in order to publicize what Student Government is doing and plans on doing to serve their student body.
