Vice President for Student Life

Hey everyone my name's Matt Lubrano and I'm the Vice President of Student Life for Student Government. I'm from Dix Hills, NY on Long Island and came to Marist in the Fall of ’07. I am an accounting major with a minor in Catholic studies. At Marist, in addition to Student Government, I am a proud member of the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity, the Catholic Student’s Association, Men’s Group, Campus Ministry, and Resident Student Council. I truly believe that getting involved in so many different aspects of Marist has contributed to my love of Marist.

As the VP for Student Life, I serve as the President of the Student Life Council. The SLC consists of an SLC E-Board, as well as the Presidents from the Resident Student Councils across campus. I am so excited to work with the RSCs and help them provide programming for the Residence Areas. I look forward to implementing many new and fresh ideas to improving the already amazing atmosphere we have on campus.

I am also a student member on the Marist Dining Services Committee. The Dining Staff is more than willing to accommodate our wants and needs so if you ever have a request or suggestion, please contact me and I can relay your message.
