Hi, my name is Andrew Paulsen and I will be serving as a Resident Senator for the 2009-2010 school year. Residing in Levittown, N.Y., I graduated from Division Avenue High School in 2008 and will be graduating in the Marist Class of 2012. Being elected to a second term, I hope to expand my goals and projects from my first term. I also have a lot of brand new ideas for this upcoming school year. My two main goals this semester are to encourage school spirit and to increase public relations both within and outside of Marist. As founder of the Student Booster Club, I will be working closely with Athletics to ensure our sporting events are better attended. As far as public relations go, I have a plethora of idea’s to make events and news more publicized around Marist. I also look to enhance campus concerns night and make it easier for students with problems to have their voices heard. Most importantly, I am serving as Marist’s Resident Senator, which means if anyone ever has any issues, concerns or suggestions about anything, please let me know.
