Steve Townsend

Class of 2010 President

Hey Guys! My name is Steve Townsend and I, once again, have the privilege of serving the class of 2010 as your Class President. Throughout the past years, the board and I have been successful in putting on events that appeal to all students from our class. We have always set high goals for attendance at events as well as making sure our ears are always open, looking for suggestions. This semester we have kicked the level of intensity up and planned 6 great events for our class, hoping to unite those of us who live on campus with the members of our class that live off campus. My other job, as President, is to serve the Class of 2010 on the Senate. It is my job to bring the concerns of the students out onto the floor of the Senate and get those concerns addressed immediately, while at the same time addressing them with great care. I take a great amount of pride in the way that I have, do and will continue to represent our class. Knowing this, I am not a mind reader! Please start speaking your voice and if you see something that bothers you or makes you happy, be sure to tell me! When I know what you like or dislike, I can continue things on campus, change them or start new ones that appeal to the students. There is no limit on what we as students can do, so please speak you mind. If you see something, say something. I hope that we have met and are friends, but if not I hope to meet you in the near future. See You Soon! Make sure you stayed tuned for class events and programs! Any questions/comments/concerns please email me at Stephen.Townsend1@marist.edu
